What we do with your data

Met Dank, Dutch Chamber of Commerce no. 88840174, is based in Den Haag (Antheunisstraat 148, 2522 ZJ Den Haag; no visiting address, by appointment only). You can reach us at info@metdank.nl.

Which data and what for

Through the order form we ask for your company name, name, email address, phone number, city and your wishes for the box. We use these to answer your request, prepare a quote, invoice and deliver. The legal basis is the performance of the contract (or the steps leading up to it) and, for our records, our legal obligation.

When you submit the form we store an encrypted derivative of your IP address (not a readable IP) to limit abuse of the form. It expires from memory after an hour and cannot be traced back to you in our records.

Retention and sharing

We keep requests and orders for as long as needed to handle them and then for seven years for the tax administration (statutory retention period). We do not share your data with others, with these exceptions: our hosting and email provider (Strato AG, servers in the EU) processes the data technically for us, and if we ship outside the Randstad the carrier receives the delivery address. We have data-processing agreements with these parties.

Your rights

You may access, correct or delete your data (as far as the retention obligation allows), and object to its use. Email info@metdank.nl to do so. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Cookies and third parties

This site uses no cookies, no tracking and no analytics. Fonts and all other files are loaded from our own server, so no data goes to third parties when you visit the site.
